Take a closer look
at Orange County.
The Orange County Economic Development Partnership works to retain, attract, and foster new business growth in Orange County, Indiana. Traditionally a stronghold in wood manufacturing, the county has diversified into other types of manufacturing to take advantage of the skills and work ethic of its workforce.
Orange County businesses have access to a deep network of local, state, and federal resources to support its vibrant community of existing businesses and to promote the success of entrepreneurial ventures. Orange County’s proximity to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is only one of the many opportunities available to new, expanding, and relocating businesses.
Benefiting from significant and sustained investments in the region, Orange County will continue to expand the transportation network, strengthen technical intellectual capital, and enhance its communications backbone. In addition, OCEDP is aggressively and methodically certifying properties for shovel readiness, and working to expand its inventory of sites and buildings.
French Lick Resort, a major employer, and Hoosier National Forest and Patoka Lake, featuring outdoor recreational activities of all types, are tourist destinations for the South Central Indiana region and are unique attributes of Orange County.
